Not sure what is worse...

I think it was the very first game to tip off if my memory serves me correctly. What pissed me off the most about that one was that UAB didn't even play all that great. Like a fluky shooting night is forgivable - **** happens. They just sleepwalked through the whole damn game and UAB obliterated them on the glass, and that was that. I was more pissed off than I was sad. After the OSU game, I just felt bad for Georges and the rest of the team.

Happier tournament memory because screw this bad memory stuff - Beating Ol' Roy and UNC to advance in 2014. That one was sweet. I remember being sure that the refs were going to put time back on the clock and give UNC one last chance to win or send it into OT.

March 16th 2012 is one of the happiest days of my life. Duke and Missouri were both upset as 2 seeds just minutes apart so CBS now has more current footage of 2 seeds losing to a 15 that they can show anytime the 15/2 game is close heading into the final 10 minutes.

Michigan St. is still the worst. We destroyed UCLA, who everyone was hyping to thump us, because of their up-tempo style. Then we ran the length of the floor over and over on them. It was glorious.

I was so confident going into The Palace against MSU. We HAD IT!

I'll bet those refs were related to Janssen, Higgins, and Eades.

I was glad someone else finally succumbed to the 2/15 — we had to endure 11 seasons as the most-recent 2 seed upset, so that continued to resurface. Then w/ FGCU beating Georgetown the next year, ISU's loss became "old news." Its ranking on biggest tournament upsets moved downward steadily.
