Got the dining room "mostly" cleaned and installed a dimmer in the remodeled bath. First dimmer try had the standard voltage LED lights buzzing like mad hornets. Had to order a pretty spendy low voltage dimmer. LED lights are kinda frustrating to me. Have to buy new dimmers and then buy even more spendier special dimmers because of the buzzing. And they don't last even a fraction of the time they are supposed to. And don't even try to go back and match a bulb from a few years ago. They don't make it any longer and finding a comparable current one to match a set for lumens and color, well, you cannot.
This!

Are you using dimmable LED bulbs?

They live in the country, so they have the room, but also the shedding will be terrible.

They are also known escape artists. I would be worried less about shedding and more about behavior. We have a neighbor who has a husky and has offered to give it away many times on FB when he gets in trouble.

Do you think the fact that my sister has our family dog with her would help the puppy out?

One more piece to this story, she got a female so she can breed it with a friend's male and sell the puppies.....

brother has a husky and they are crazy smart. Like, locked brother out of his house when he got home late - the door and a window. And can open one of the barn doors that requires being turned and pushed at the same time. Brother said he woke up in the middle of the night one time to the dog sitting next to the bed staring at him and it scared him and he punched him, lol. I'm like dude, your dog seems super nice and friendly during the day and acts stupid sometimes, but he's definitely going to kill you.

Having another dog will help, but from the sounds of your sister's decision making skills it may not be the best choice.

My daughter loves huskies, but even at age 14 knows they are a lot of work. On a side note, there was an increase of huskies in shelters due to Game of Thrones. People wanted dogs similar to the dire wolves seen in the show so they got a husky. Then they found out how much work they were and gave them up. :(

Are you using dimmable LED bulbs?

Yes, but dimmable just means the little mini-transformer thingy in each bulb will dim without the bulb flickering or buzzing too much with the new dimmers. The standard is no real audible buzzing from three feet away. Okay for most ceiling lights. Not okay with a three bulb vanity in a 5x8 bathroom. Found with one bulb in = no buzz, two bulbs = buzz, three = even moar pronounced buzzing. Buzz times three and you are a couple feet away. Annoying.

You can go to the manufacturer of the dimmer and try to find a bulb on the lists they publish but their are like a million Chinese companies making bulbs and none of the bulb model #'s they sell at HD are listed. Hell, when I was trying to match that list the only bulb at HD that was on it was in their little lighted display and it was only an old display model they don't sell anymore.

And yeah, kind of a geek here...did a lot of looking/reading. The non-magnetic electronic dimmer actually spec'd for low voltage worked like a charm.

One more reason I went dark last time I dyed my hair. Don't want anyone confusing me for a Fox News personality. (I do still wear pencil skirts at work though.)
I felt bad when an engineer I haven't worked with in months showed up on Monday in a pencil skirt and 7 months pregnant and I had to make her climb a whole bunch of stairs.

Just had a phone call that involved me asking a lady to repeat every single thing she said because she insisted on conducting the entire phone call using a ****** speaker phone with what sounded like jet turbines being tested in the background. Oh, and I think she was eating something as the same time.

Bonus: she kept getting more and more angry with me as the call went on because I kept asking her to repeat herself.
