An Iowa boy whose family is well know in the state. Sounds like an all out attack on recruits in Iowa.
GAs are normally around for two years. It is extremely difficult, if not impossible, for a GA to get a master's in one year.
Having an opposing teams playbook is easy. All you have to do is to study film. The difficult task is determining which play or defense will be ran at any given time. The other relevant question is what new wrinkles will be thrown in from game to game. Great coaches make successful in game adjustments.

Jake Waters (K-State alum) was on staff for two years. Do you really think a kid trying to work up the coachings ranks would put his career in jeopardy for one game?
Do not disagree about the kid. However his dad is a prick.
The old man has always had great things to say about the TOE program, Iowa State-not so much.

He's got one up on dad by getting a job at ISU before him. Will it make dad even more bitter towards ISU?

While I was going to UNI I worked at a sports bar that Farley, Jacobson, and big wigs of CF would come to every Monday. Jacobson was the nicest, most respectful guy in the world. Farley was the exact opposite.
Well then, Jeff is a smart man too.
Lived in Waterloo my first 60 years. One of my best friends hangs out with members of the UNI fb staff. Trust me, he is a prick. Plus as another poster said, he never says anything positive about ISU, and is a big eiu suckup. Do not know much about his kid, but he was a good fb player. Hope he has his mothers traits, although I never met her but she to be better than Mark.
Why not? Wouldn't you want to prove to your father that you helped/were part of a team beat his team? I dunno, I guess my family is competitive so I would assume he'd take it as a challenge to beat the ole man.

I've had the same impression of his dad. Whenever we beat UNI in football, he never gives us any credit whatsoever. Well, he should be extremely grateful our staff has given his son a wonderful start to his coaching career.
