Weren't you guys 3-19 or something? Wonder what UNI's record was....just a horrible year of basketball in the state of Iowa.
ISU had a bad year but was nowhere near close to Iowa's. Plus, our AD didn't quietly give Prohm an extension based off mediocrity....nor did he do it in a way that almost looked like he was ashamed to admit it to the public.
ISU was just about as bad as Iowa this year.

I think the biggest difference is that Iowa State has several difference makers that will be on the roster next year and its pretty tough to find any optimism regarding next season for Iowa... It's pretty tough to sugar coat this year though, it sucked for both teams...

I can understand you guys being optimistic about next year. Just don't pretend that this year was anything but horrible.
It was bad not horrible. Couldn't help that Talley/Long were injured the first half of the season, Brase almost all year, and Young/Babb the last third of the season. Add that to the Big 12 being a couple games from 9 teams in the dance.
If there was anyone acting like this year was good, let me know cause then you might actually have a point.
