Tiger is back!

I always thought he could get back to being the best player in the world again, if he could stay healthy long enough. I didn't think he'd ever be able to do that though. Hopefully he can. He needs about 2 years of injury free golf.

Damn so close

Didn’t expect Casey to come back after his collapse from yesterday.

Bummed he lost, but awesome to see his so close. Yesterday was great to watch.

He could never get anything going today at all, and was still inches away from being in a playoff.

I just pray he can stay healthy because his form is nearly completely back. All tournaments with him in them are better, and if he's in contention, they are off the charts.

Him contending this year at Augusta would be amazing to see. I hope it happens.

I think I heard the announcer say Tiger recorded a swing speed of 129 mph - which was the fastest recorded on tour so far this year....Not bad for having four back surgeries,

That's what was recorded but it almost can't be right. Ball speed was only like 182 or something and Trackman has an issue where they don't read TM heads right sometimes. He's still fast, just not quite that fast.

He just didn't do anything that well today and he putted marginally, at best. WInning on tour is often a matter of circumstance and he just wasn't good enough today to do it. He needs to start playing par 5s better. There's no question about that.

Off to an excellent start again. 3 under thru first 8 holes. Currently tied for 1st.
He's been really consistent from tee to green. What separates the winner most of the time is the putter. Hopefully get slowly gets that going along with the rest of his game. Paul Casey only needing 22 putts in the final round last week was the difference.

Getting it on the green is only part of the battle. If you're hitting green but leaving miserably long putts you really aren't doing much.

Agreed, but he did miss 4-5 birdie putts inside 20 feet and three putted a par 5 in the final round. You are right that he didn't have many short ones though. I think he had one inside 10 feet that he missed and a tap in on a par 5, that was it.
