Graham Couch: Iowa Basketball is a mid-major roster

Seems like he should.

Guess for me it depends on if Iowa has attrition. Can't imagine a bunch of Juniors and Seniors appreciating getting beat out by a Freshman.

It doesnt matter who Iowa loses due to attrition. Wieskamp will start.

Ideally:

PG- Someone not currently on the team
SG- Bohannon
SF- Wieskamp
PF- Cook
C- Garza

Most likely:

PG- Bohannon
SG- Moss
SF- Wieskamp
PF- Cook
C- Garza

Yikes. No Ellingson as a senior? Going to need another shooter and Wieskamp isn't one

How about this headline for a tweet:

I'm guessing "miss March" means that their regular season ends before March? Because they've missed what's relevant about March way more than that.

Man, that is a misleading headline. You know some goober is going to be spouting off at the local Casey's over coffee tomorrow morning that the Hawks haven't missed the NCAA tournament in 80 years.

That "goober" made the delicious breakfast pizza that you're eating, thank you very much.

You really expect Ellingson to play over Wieskamp?

You also said Garza is a terrible shooter and that has shown to be incorrect.

Fran loved senior Ogelsby I could see him loving senior Ellingson.

Garza is shooting 66% from the FT line and 32% from 3 in a bad conference

Meh - not the worst. The hawks are no strangers to futility. They have 11 seasons that are between the current .400 winning percentage and .300 and an additional 5 seasons that are sub .300 (including the 1897 season where they lost the only game they played. Why they only played one game we may never know.) So over one eighth of hawkeye seasons have resulted in a worse winning percentage than this season's so far.

55% which doesn't mean much except he's making some uncontested layups because the other team isn't going to foul him up 20

You watch Iowa more than most people posting in this forum and know how many jump shots Garza takes.

Since he reentered the starting lineup in early January he has shot almost 54% from the floor and close to 80% from the line.

Whar Fran, Jr.? Oh that's right, he's going into the draft this year.

Lard is shooting like 70% from the floor and he's not a good shooter. Like I said congrats to Garza for making uncontested shots when the other team is coasting they game

You said uncontested layups. Is that why Lard is shooting such a good clip? Uncontested layups?
