Will he be a first team all-conference player this year? If not, just another case of a guy regressing in the Iowa program. Sounds like Fran didn’t turn him into anything, other than a worse player.

Here's a great question for you @YeahBuddy. How can you still support Gary Barta when he just gave a $10 million buyout to a coach who's best guard he's ever had was 3rd team all conference as a senior?
I don't think it matters who or how many transfer out of Iowa. Fran is a horrible judge of talent, and hasn't recruited at a P5 level. He needs decent in-state talent to just barely keep his head above water. His results this year certainly aren't going to make things any easier.
Sorry I was just referring to Iowa. I didn't realize Marble only got first team all conference as a senior because his team almost made it to the tourney and Gatens who was third team all conference as a senior was really the best Fran has had here
Yeah I'm just pointing out the fact he isn't a P5 coach. He had less years at Seina and just as much (or little) tourney success.

Why? When your best guard you've had at Iowa was third team all conference didn't that throw up some red flags for you or did those NIT games just cover it up?
That kind of shows that you support the way the program is going right?
I mean Kirk 2.0 didn't happen until Barta got God knows how many letters and some people stopped showing up and supporting the football program. By the looks of Carver lately, that appears to be happening for Francis.
So Gatens was third team because they didn't get in the tourney but Marble got first team because they didn't get in the tourney?
