Graham Couch: Iowa Basketball is a mid-major roster

You guys win the conference tourney that year?

So.....how far you go in the NCAA's determines how good a year you had? Didn't the Cyclone team that lost to Hampton win the B12 regular season title? Would that team rank behind Orr's 5-9 conf....2nd rnd NCAA team?

Nope, team was so highly thought of they got the benefit of the doubt.

So you’re saying looking exclusively at winning percentage is an activity pursued by idiots? You’re correct.

I listed his NCAA tourney credentials and conference winning %. Seems like 2 really relevant pieces of data to determine his success.

He won 40% of his conference games, made the NCAA tourney in less than half of his seasons at ISU and made it past the first weekend of the NCAA tourney at ISU one time in 14 seasons and got a statue built after him.

Not sure why this upsets you all so much but there is nothing that is wrong with what I am posting.

Really? 5-9 in conference and they got an at large?

Different times I guess...don't think we'll see that again (not that low of a win%)

There is nothing wrong with saying you named your stadium after a loser. At least ours is just a statue.

Do you think Lindell is worse than Bohannon?

Nothing but class from Clone fans. The other bball thread got shut down for taking jabs at Chris Street and now we have one calling Kinnick a "loser".

Never change, Clones.
Did he not have a losing record? The same shot you took at a veteran in Orr.

Try again, buddy.

Anybody touting Bobo has no place in a serious basketball evaluation.
