RPI is just a factor. K State isn't a lock. Tough games remaining. Losing to us would really suck for them.
They are 14-1 in Lincoln with their lone loss to Kansas by 1. They aren't losing a home game and Illinois is a dumpster fire.

I don't think anyone is saying that. They're saying Nebraska is out at 13-5. I think they're in at 14-4.
To be fair you said no P5 conference team would be left out at 14-4 and that was proven wrong pretty quickly
Your original post said 13-5. I've made my case very clear. 14-4 with a first round loss in the BTT is too close to call. They would still have only beaten ONE tournament worthy team all season. How is that even possible?
I wouldn't want to bet on either side at 14-4 and 0-1 BTT. It would depend on the other at-large resumes'.
You have wrapped your head around a conference and overall record which are not nearly as relevant as you want them to be.

At some point shouldn't wins count for something? You can only play the schedule you are dealt.
Nebraska isn't a LOCK if they go 0-1 in the BTT. They may get in but not a lock. I'll come back to wager if they lose that first game and you should be comfortable with any amount I name.

They are in a weak league with an unbalanced schedule, and played a soft non-con. It's just math.

If we were in the same situation 100% of you guys would say we should easily be in.
This is the argrument that mid majors use when they have a 26-4 type runner up miss the field.
We play in a real conference where we don't have to worry about SOS and our non con was still tougher than theirs
