@YeahBuddy I watched some of the Indiana/Minny game Friday night. No way is Pitino Jr around next year is he?
Indiana is playing better, and I think given time, could get to be a perennial B1G contender. They've played decent ball in the last few weeks.
You going to the game Saturday?

At 500 a ticket roughly, that's a mil cut in tickets. How many seats are getting upgraded for that 90MM (which by the way we did for less than half that price).

They are losing roughly 1500 seats. The club seats are going to cost $1000 dollars each in a reservation gift to reserve access to them.

The annual cost of the seat will be $1958 per seat plus the cost of a season ticket which should be around $425 this season so a grand total of about $2400 per seat for the club seating.

Last I heard, the response has been really good to these seats.

No cost to taxpayers or UI students, it is being fully funded through gifts and AD revenues.

Yep, planning on being there and in the Twin Cities next Wednesday night.

Yeah, I don't see how Minnesota can keep Pitino with the massive underachieving combined with the crap off the court, they would look horrible in keeping him. But with Minnesota, it wouldn't shock me if they didn't.

I agree with Miller, I think he can turn Indiana around. Crean had great recruits and a couple good years but I think Miller can be more consistent. Will be interesting to see if he can reel in Romeo Langford.

I would think with Izzo's age and questions on how much longer he's going to be there, a down Wisky, Minny most likely getting a new coach, Beilein's getting up there in age, I wouldn't be shocked if Maryland moves on in a year or two, there's a lot of upside at Indiana, if a recruit wants to be in the B1G.
Really the only constant I can see for the foreseeable future is tOSU and Purdue, and the Boilers will lose a ton of talent after this year.

Indiana already has a pretty good class. Hope Langford ends up at Indiana rather than KU. The beakers are already ridiculously loaded for 2018-2019.

I still think Wisky needs to cut bait with Gard, pay whatever he is owed, and send a Brinks truck to Virginia.
Do that, and your football and basketball coaches are set for at least 10 years with an incredible likelihood neither coach will leave.

I agree with this. Not sure Bennett will leave though.

Sounds like Barta would give him a new contract

So off the 1500 premium seats at 3k for easy math, that's 4.5MM. Now subtract 3000 seats times the 425(seriously ISU is willing to pay more?) and that is roughly 1.25MM. So they net 3.25 MM for the 90MM.

Isu added 3000 premium seats along with 3000 additional permanent seats for half the price. Barta is not a good money manager once again.

How bad is the Big 10? One would think that #4 Michigan State would rise to #1 after #1 Villanova lost to unranked St Johns, #2 Virginia lost to unranked Virginia Tech, and #3 Purdue lost to the Spartans. Struggling with Iowa must have really left a negative impression with voters.

Didnt ISU have grass there before the SEZ expansion?

Probably a little cheaper to expand from nothing than to remodel an existing structure.

When is the last time a bad conference had 3 teams in the Top 8?
