Feels like free money. But it also tells you how bad the little ten is. If one of the top teams in the conference is only a 10.5 favorite over one of the worst Power 5 teams in the country, the conference must be horrible.
About the same as your whole, "Only one team in the state has a 4 star level recruit in football," shtick.
Ok, so top 5 is the goal post today? Good to know. And this coming just a week or two after you had to play a Minnesota team that HAD been ranked a couple months ago. I don't know how you guys do it. I really don't.
I thought Fran was going to use Dumb Mule at guard. He sure hasn't contributed anything as a big.
Franny is 1-11 Vs rpi top 100. It makes no difference what conference you play in.
Except it's not shtick, it's fact. Also a small part of why we are going to be the best football team in the state for a long time.
But hey at least he does it the right way. If the right way includes folding your arms, screaming at everyone around you, and having really bad basketball teams. Hope he coaches there for 20 more years.
Does the Big 10 have top-5 teams?
It must playing sub-100 teams, but either way it’s a loss for Iowa. Will Iowa State in their worst year in 8 years have more top-10 wins than Iowa could hope for in their best year?
Actually though, have you guys beaten any ranked team? We've even accomplished a top-10 win in an off-year. I seem to recall hype that ToE was supposed to be good this season...
