Wieskamp is in the Big 10? Huh. Didn't know that. Shows you what I know about him.
Has he now flipped his commitment to ISU or something? If not, then no, I don't care about him. Wish him well playing for Mad Fran. Hope he doesn't have any chairs thrown at him.
One of our buddies said he was better than any post we had.
Upsets happen in college basketball, it's not due to some "magic".
You should realize this after what happened when ISU went to Carver last season when Monte had his victory celebration planned.
Yep, ISU slept walked into Carver last year over confident and lost as they should have. Luckily, they went on to have a MUCH better season than Iowa and showed they were the better team. One night doesn't make a season. Someday Fran will understand this.
Wieskamp is making a mistake by not taking up LaVar's offer. He would be getting paid to get better in that league... Instead he going to not get paid to peak as a freshman, and to be poorly coached by a poor coach.
Tragic.
They beat those teams because upsets happen. It's not because of "magic" or that ISU was more talented.
It's not hard to understand.
Why isn't Iowa upsetting good teams at home this year then?
What is your expectations of Wieskamp? Trae Young type of numbers? Fred Hoiberg? Matt Thomas? It is comical thst some Iowa fans thought Garza was one and done.
