He could have filled the pesky short white guy shooter role for Travis Ford, but that ship has sailed.
He's not half the player Forte was. That dude was actually somewhat athletic and could defend
Terrible comparison is all i'm saying. If Prohm couldn't use a dead eye shooter on this team, then he isn't half the coach I've been told he is.
Pretty tough market nowadays when you think about it. Maybe Fran should have tried it.
His HS recruiting will more than make up for that. Not to mention Shayok and Jacobson.
We could use a lot of help on this team. Not sure a kid who can't defend from a bad conference is going to help anything just like Beverly hasn't
This board was not excited about Jacobson as a transfer prospect until it was announced he was coming to Ames.

I don't recall anyone being bummed about it. I do think most were more excited about possibly landing Morrow.
Jacobson will be a solid player. I don't think Prohm will ever try to land a 1 year transfer with the thought of then coming in and averaging 18 a game.
Bohannon and Jackson are a wash to me. Jackson is a little better defender but Bohannon is a better passer.
