Look at Iowa pre-Fry. They won a national championship and Rose Bowl in 1958 and another Rose Bowl in 1960. Then went 20 years without ever having a winning record. Iowa has had a damn good run for 39 years now, one that a lot of schools wish they could have.

OK and what's your point? Saban couldn't get Iowa to be a top 10 program if he was there? Like I said, that sucks to be you guys

ISU a top ten program?? I would give you Saban, Lombardi, Belichick, Bear Bryant and anybody else you want and there is no way they could ever get there for any sustainable period. Do you know where most of all the great talent in college football resides??

Wait you're going from coaching to talent in the same statement? I'm assuming you want to say the South.
If all the talent is in the South, how is Notre Dame, Michigan, Nebraska, Penn State, Ohio State perennial all time great schools?

Yes with Saban they would be. Apparently they reside in Wisconsin

The Iowa fans that think this way are the reason Fran just got a lifetime contract. It's great
 
CyTwins: You see that Will Wade got another 5 star recruit at LSU. #3 class in the country ATM. He is killing it. LSU is a much better job than ISU and Iowa.

Isn't this kind of hurting your Saban angle? They've won one tournament game in the last decade. Crazy what a new coach can do to a program!
