***Big 10 Thread***

What??? Iowa isn't a blue blood and will never be one. Getting Iowa to consistent bowl games with the occasional contender is very reasonable expectations and KF has delivered thus far.
You have been over paying since the Browns/Michigan rumours a decade ago.

You have no idea what you are talking about. It was a high contract that was full of risk, but thus far KF has come thru. The buyout is still very scary, but if he keeps getting wins then it won't be much of a problem as there will be no need to let him go. I'm guessing he coaches another five to six years and then retires.

You are right. It's not like lawyers had to shut down an illegal ticket promo because there is such a high demand because Kirk comes thru.

Man, ISU fans are jealous of KF's results.

Not jealous, but for all the hype he gets and his longevity, you would expect him to have his teams in the top 10 every year with the OSU, OU, and Alabama type teams. He just seems content on his 7 win season and an occasional season where they win more than that. Seems his contract is heavily weighed on wins after 7 games. What was his payout for his 8 wins this season?

The 8th win is a bonus. So, say he goes 2-1 on average non con, he’s expected to go 5-4 in the B1G.

Iowa's averaged a top-10 finish every 3-4 years since 2000. So yeah not every year, but pretty close. Not OSU/Bama type blueblood, but pretty close.

Are you referencing the AP Poll that said ISU was better than Iowa this year?

Maybe this game is a *****-fest about the Big10 but the Purdue-Michigan game has been AWESOME. Extremely entertaining.

Those are two nice teams.

I've liked what I've seen from Ohio State too, although they're currently getting beat by PSU in Columbus.

I think I saw that 4 teams are somewhat sure things for the NCAA tourney. Still surprising.

Penn State took down Ohio State tonight.
Crazy end to that game. PSU crapped away a pretty strong lead late in the game. An incredible game-tying 3pt shot by tOSU was bested by an even more amazing game-winning, buzzer-beating bank shot by the NitLions.
