I don't think that they've made other roster moves and I don't know of any injuries, but the Nuggets tweeted the following:

Two-way player Monte Morris has been transferred from the Rio Grande Valley Vipers to our team.

Monte inactive tonight as Murray is going to play since he passed concussion tests.

The nature of the contract he signed I suppose. Going to be extremely tough for Monte to get meaningful minutes on their roster this year. He should be playing but Malone is a trash coach who won't give him an opportunity.

Doesn't make the coach a trash coach. G-League guys aren't intended to get big opportunities. They're just there to fill in minor gaps when needed and then go away.

Watch a Nuggets game before commenting next time.

Malone is firmly on the hot seat. Continues to play lineups that are ineffective. Already wasted half of this season making the same mistakes as last year by playing Jokic at the 4. The Nuggets actually traded Nurkic last season because it forced Jokic out of position but Malone has insisted to play Plumlee because he likes him personally.

Changes his coaching philosophy from one game to the next by playing young guys and then registers them DNPs CD several games in a row during a losing streak.

Holds grudges against players and is basically being stubborn with the roster. He over values post defense in a changing NBA landscape. It takes him forever to make adjustments that coaches of worse rosters make in minutes.

The Nuggets currently start an out of position PG. They don't have a true PG on the roster that gets minutes.

Yes, I understand G-League guys aren't intended to get big opportunities. The Nuggets other two-way player has played in 15 games at a position with less need lol.

When your "PG" is playing out of position averaging 2.7 assists and 2 TO per game and you have no other PG on the roster for the 2nd unit it is laughable he isn't getting an opportunity.

Yeah, nuggets have been pretty trash from a player development standpoint. I don't think I've seen a team play so many guys out of their natural position by choice.

Will Barton back up "PG" is 0-6 and a -16 in 9 minutes so far. Nuggets trail by 12 to the Phoenix Suns (16-29). Monte's only hope of playing for this roster is if they unload a bunch of their mediocre players at the deadline... and even then the Nuggets are rumored to be in on Kemba Walker.

I think things are looking up for Monte with the Nuggets considering they are seemingly giving up on Mudiay and giving Barton the minutes at PG, even though he isn’t part of the long-term plan and likely won’t be back next year.

I’m a homer, but I think Monte is in a good place and he’ll get a fair chance.

Anyone know where to look to see if monte will be on the g league team or with the Nuggets tomorrow for the game in Des Moines?

It's fun to see that most every response to that Nuggets tweet is people hoping for Monte to get a shot at some point. You like to see that from fans when he's maybe seen 5 minutes of court time.

Went to the game tonight. Monte would have had a bunch more assists if his teammates could finish at the hoop. Those guys were missing gimmes all night long.
I saw some of the 2nd half on-line; R.J. Hunter missed several jumpshots that MM set up for him, too. I understand that Monte had a turnover late in the 4th; it would have been appropos if he had turned in a turnover-free night.
