All Iowa Football Team---Post Bowl Edition

Agreed on both points.

Daniels is super young for his age and was another knee surgery from seeing his stock plummet. It was absolutely the correct decision as it sounds like he got 2nd round feedback from the draft advisory board.
Never knew he had knee surgery to begin with. He's a true junior too, correct? NFL teams love youth when it comes to the draft.

What can you tell us about those 7 guys I listed on the OL for Iowa?

I know the Paulsens are busts and don't know anything about the other of them besides Jackson and Wirfs . They both struggled this year like most freshman do on the line but they probably have high ceilings, especially Wirfs. He's going to be good.

So all that equals "Yikes"?

You know a little about 3 out of the 7 that I posted about and absolutely nothing about the other 4.

He and Welsh will be tough to replace. Personally I thought Welsh was the best Iowa OL for the past 2-3 seasons. That said, I didn't watch most games.

Agreed. Welsh was really good inside. He struggled when they tried moving him out to RT when Boettger went down before pulling the RS off Wirfs.

I would also be concerned that ISU's offense only put up one more PPG than the Iowa offense if there really is such a huge talent discrepancy on that side of the ball that most of this board claims.

UI's offense had to play against B10 defenses which are apparently much softer than B12 defenses based on this stat.

Losing Daniels and retaining Fran is a rough week. Jackson was gone for sure a long time ago

Never rough when sending another lineman to the pros and he left in great standing with a very classy goodbye to the fans.

UI's offense put up 44 points against the only Big 12 defense they played this season.

I agree with this. I didn't catch the KSU game, but did see Memphis' last ditch drive and was impressed by the pressure they were getting. Won them the game imo.

Is this a trap? It almost seems non-trolly.

Congrats!

Miller also wanted KF fired after the 2014 season and now he is calling him a living legend so I take everything he says with a grain assault.

Not to mention the fact the JDM is a complete *******.
