CMC is the Big 12 coach of the year, our RB and LB coaches won national awards and our DC was a national finalist

So ISU has the better players, better coaches and played at home this year to an outmanned and outcoached Iowa team and got beat? That has to be the biggest upset in the history of sports. No motivational tools can make up for that kind of difference in talent and coaching let alone the huge home field advantage that is Jack Trice Stadium.

Then how is CMC 0-2 against Iowa and how did Iowa have a better season this year with worse talent and worse coaches?

Makes you realize what you are competing with when your most prized recruit is an afterthought for the big boys. Iowa fans know this all too well too.
It must be nice to be a program where you turn down a near-top-50 kid in his position because you already have higher-rated recruits there. Can't say I know that feeling.

Iowa played a much tougher schedule and caught plenty of bad breaks.

Kirk has been at Iowa since 1999.
Kirk has the program stable.
Kirk has years of experience compared to Campbell.
Kirk has knows the conference.
Kirk has a 16 year lead on recruiting relative to Campbell at ISU.

I have finally figured out why you spend so much time here. The only way you can feel remotely good about Kirk is you have to constantly defend him and make every possible effort to make Campbell's accomplishments look meager. I think it is awesome that your nearly 20 year tenured coach is eeking 3-point victories out wins against a program that has had a rough time building a presence in a tough conference. Yet in Campbell's second year the accomplishments are profound. Congrats...I guess? Your obtuse posts and trolling are far less curious now.

Kansas State game comes to mind. Even my Hawkeye buddies were like dude you guys got screwed out of that game when it was over. I understand you don't think they did
I've seen multiple unrelated and even some ToE fans say we got robbed on Monty's fumble, too (but, we still won anyway). I saw many mixed reviews about the OKSt TD/INT debacle, too.

I'm OK if you don't say we got screwed against Oklahoma State but you have to be a hater to pretend the Kansas State debacle didn't happen

If Butler wouldn't have had another crucial drop, then ISU wins that game. At least that is what I heard.
