All Iowa Football Team---Post Bowl Edition

Yeah and it looks to me like ISU offered the gomer. Better luck with your next post.
The goon really could've been a great player if he had something resembling coaching during his college career. I mean, look at those starzz and that rating!
I posted a legit, non troll All Iowa Team and was trolled by a couple posters in this thread. If they can't add to the discussion maybe they should hold on to their comments.
These threads are r*****ed and you know it. "Here, let's take two teams in different conferences with fundamentally different offensive and defensive styles and try to compare them directly on a player-by-player basis almost entirely based on future potential that we have no foresight into whatsoever".

Gets old, fast.

Imagine if Shimonek had stayed. CFP participant for Iowa then.

Oh & congrats for your moral victories against Penn State (fans had a little pep rally after the game to show their unwavering support after that one - there were no losers of that epic game) as well as Wisconsin & Purdue (but for some reason the fans didn’t show the same support as they did after the Pedo St game. Go figure.) if the fans only showed the same support maybe Ohio St would have made it in the CFP.

Stanley is much younger than Kempt and has a much bigger arm and led a demolition of Ohio State. Your argument here sucks.

And LOL at the moral victory of almost beating Okie State.
Talking about Noland moron. Stanley wouldnt score 20 on Oklahoma State. We scored 42 on Nolands first real appearance.

Hates the concept of the thread but chooses to open it up and post in it. Makes sense.

Isn't it crazy your best year ever was pretty much just like CMC's second year? Yikes

Oh really? Iowa was ranked higher in the final AP Poll 4 times under KF than they were in 2015. What will ISU end up ranked this season?

Noland is not younger than Stanley. They were both 2016 commits and Noland is 10 days older than him, moron.

Stanley > Park > Kempt > Noland

I have no idea on Noland, clearly has a lot of potential and played well when he got his chance this year. Just not enough snaps to know much else.

Stanley is 3rd in that list if you don't consider off the field, 2nd if you do. Kempt's a better QB than our own fan base gives him credit before, but to put him behind Stanley is just ignorance. The incredibly weak arguments you've brought to support it proves that out.

Jewell vs Lanning is a lot closer than Kempt vs Stanley.

Stanley > Park > Kempt > Noland
PLUS: (possibly referenced within the thread, haven't made it all the way through):

ESPN Total BQ rating

17. Kyle Kempt
69. Nathan Stanley

I'm no expert about QBR calculation, but if the gap is that large — advantage Kempt.

Because @CyTwins and other Clone fans in this thread cant stand that Stanley ended up being the best QB in the state.
Kempt certainly doesn't have the physical tools that Stanley has, but there is no denying the performance.

Kempt
Attempts: 243 Completions: 161 Completion %: 66.3 Yards: 1,787 TD's: 15 INT: 3 QBR: 145.9

Stanley
Attempts: 351 Completions: 196 Completion %: 55.8 Yards: 2,432 TD's: 26 INT: 6 QBR: 135.1

I mean, we're comparing a high 3 star QB with offers from PITT and Wisconsin to a QB that couldn't find time at Oregon St. or Hutch JUCO. Quite amazing what Kempt was able to do.

Great stories like that all over the ISU roster.

Then you should have no problem placing Wadley ahead of Montgomery at RB then.

Wadley had more total yards (1462 to 1442) on less touches (294 to 280) than Montgomery and scored 2 more TD's this season.

Just calling them as I see them. It's not like you guys value objectivity or anything to attempt to make the conversation valuable.

My list was fair and objective, I cant help it you dont agree with that.

There was a Clone fan in this thread saying Iowa should only have Fant, Jackson and Jewell on the team but I am the one that doesnt value objectivity.

That's perfectly fine. Wadley is a great player.

Stanley certainly should be better than Kempt by time he is a Senior. Just like Montgomery will have no problem being better than Wadley.

But I have read all over this board that Iowa's WR are junk. Isnt the fact that Stanley put up that type of production while having a poor WR crew to throw to worth anything?

There is no denying that ISU had many more weapons than Iowa did on the outside for Kempt to use.

Doesnt the fact that this vaunted ISU offense playing in the Big 12 only scored 1 whole point per game more than the junk Iowa offense playing in the B1G concern anyone here?
