Would you consider Matt Campbell to be the best coach in the Big 12? Sure he won the award this year but he isn't the best coach in the conference.

I admit I peeked a few times at the game yesterday, only to be disappointed ToE was not getting blown out. There seemed to be a few thousand people there. Serious question, if you are not a diehard fan of either team, why would you sit through that?
Anyone actually scanned a bunch of ranking aggregators to see whether or not Memphis is ranked higher than BC? I figured the ToE fans would've already rubbed in our faces that BC is ranked higher... If that were the case.
Sagarin has Memphis at 31 and BC 32. Memphis' SOS is 86.
Memphis only lost to one team, UCF. So they are very good. They score a ton of points. Good news for us is they give up a ton of points too. I think we will be able to score at will against them.
AKA: the life of a G5. They'll never prove anything because they'll never have the opportunity to do so (same reason why a G5 will never reach the CFP, ever).
That automatically discredits it as a reputable source. Anyone who has watched any football this year would tell you that we are significantly better than Iowa right now. We would be favored by more than a touchdown on a neutral field.
All we know is they went 10-2 against the #86 SOS. We know that going 12-0 in the regular season against an SOS that's 30 spots tougher is a joke, so I'm confused as to why now Memphis supposedly is good.
Memphis lost twice, both times to UCF. Scores were 40-13 and 62-55. Memphis ranks 120th out of 129 teams in total defense in the FBS. Iowa State is ranked 45th. Scoring defense - Memphis averages giving up 33.4 ppg, whereas ISU averages giving up 21.0.
You guys probably would've looked better if you could've backed up your 12-0 results in either of the Conf. Champ. or Bowl game. Memphis is going to go through the same thing: win the bowl game, look good. Lose the bowl game, look overrated.
Both of Memphis' losses are to the same NY6 bowl team, too, so there's that.
