Yeah but 8 wins against the 5th toughest schedule in the country, all the while breaking in a new unproven QB, new unproven WRs, new unproven TEs, new unproven CBs, new unproven safeties, new unproven OC, a very green DL, and having to start unproven freshmen at both OTs most of the season? Pretty impressive.

Listen, I like coach Campbell...he's a hell of a coach and you guys are absolutely justified in being stoked about what he's done but.....the Cyclones were 6-2 and ranked. Ending 7-6 would be a little anticlimactic don't you think?
First of all, I'm sorry that you can't enjoy your win on your own board. Pathetic really, but congrats anyway. Second, no, it wouldn't be anticlimactic, because here's the thing: We are in YEAR TWO of a new coaching regime. No one expected us to do what we've done in two years. Our recruiting classes continue to be the best they've ever been and Hawk fans are clearly threatened. Sorry dude, but win or lose on Saturday, this thing is just getting started, and it's only going up from here.

Congrats on the banner year. Beating Iowa State and a bowl for Iowa is admittedly huge for where your program is. It’s very tough to win at Iowa.
