Iowa Football Recruiting

If they can get Honas, this will be a very solid class for Iowa. I see Wisconsin is now involved for Honas.

Who is Honas?

#1 ranked JC ILB recruit. I was pretty confident in him coming to Iowa, but now not so much with Wisconsin getting involved and Nebraska I guess has put the full court press on him. Iowa still has a shot, but it won't be easy.

Not very often Iowa goes after JUCO kids. You think Iowa would have the most to offer considering how bad your LB's will be next year

I agree but if you are going to transfer, wouldn't you want to go to a winner like Wisconsin or an up in coming program with an exciting new coach? Going to Iowa, you know that you will play for a very boring team and get 4 to 6 wins over the next year or two and potentially play in a mediocre bowl game. That's a pretty hard sell.

They definitely can offer playing time that is for sure, which is why I felt like he would be a Hawk. Now not so much. If he waits to visit Wisconsin then he will be a badger. If he signs this week it is down to Iowa and Nebraska.

Well that logic.

They need all the help they can get to reach their annual 7-5 record, with a blowout loss in the bowl game.
Isn't 7-5 what you guys are so hard for around here?

Average regular season win totals:
Last 3 years: 9
Last 5 years: 8.4
Last 7 years: 7.6
Last 10 years: 7.8

So not only are you mocking yourself, you're also factually incorrect. Yet another uneducated clone fan.
