The point was the situation both were in. It's hard to compare the situations when Iowa, quite literally, has maybe one more option to throw to and Allen was a freshmen with perhaps the best two WRs to ever play at ISU plus a host of other guys to throw to. I bet you wouldn't have guessed Montgomery would overtake Wadley as the best RB in the state either. Or Joel Lanning sitting alongside Josey Jewell on and AA teamm.

It's an easy question. If you're fielding an offense do you take Fant or Allen to start at TE?
