Cyclone fans have taken great joy in that play according to this board. Moral Victory U!
I've been trying to tell hawk fans this all year, but they won't listen. Jewell is ELITE at positioning. He constantly finds himself in a position to make a tackle. But I've never seen so many missed tackles from an All-American. Had 11 tackles per game this season, and he probably could have had about 3 more tackles per game, from what I've seen.
Yeah because it was pretty funny considering Iowa fans tried telling us Wadley and Butler were better than Montgomery and then he owned your "star" LB

Pretty good list and tough to argue with much. My guess is Epenesa over Nelson, Jackson to NFL, so I will take Peavy and Payne at CB.
I hope there is another Spears like breakout for Sutton or another LB. Northrup has experience but is not suited for the middle.
I also wonder if Uwazurike could move outside. seems like he would be well suited to be a 3-4 DE. May depend on what ISU thinks they will get from Leo and Tongamoa.
Safety and STAR will be interesting. I wonder if a guy like Ruth could move over. Dude is physical.
I'm curious what Iowa's LBs will look like next year. Are any of the guys stepping in next year highly ranked guys or getting a lot of buzz?
What about Peavy? Hearing he might be testing the waters. Any chance he goes pro?
Sounds like you have as much info as most of us. If he's projected 2nd day, I would think he should go. He's undersized, so he's not going to improve his draft stock much more than that. Someone will be getting a steal if he goes in the third or later.
I don't think he will go but with his size his stock might not get higher coming back so who knows. Probably a 5th round type grade for him
Definitely a chance. He's a polished CB, so there may be limited room for him to move up by coming back. I would say the chance was small that he'd enter the draft, but it looks like this draft will be fairly weak at CB, so it may make sense.
