So you didn’t see Barkley embarrass him or Montgomery run him over? You think he is an NFL LB?
No player wins 100% of the battles....the best corners occasionally get beat...the best QB's throw int's....
LOL, Montgomery never ran Jewell over. Jewell had him stopped and then Eaton pushed Montgomery's back.
Just seemed that when Jewell or Jackson had good games, the rest of the defense didn't play up to their level.
I disagree with that but I think we can both agree on Jewell did miss a ton of tackles this year which is why he graded out the way he did
Ben Boulware from Clemson & Riley Bullough from MSU piled up tackles & plays in college then ran 4.8 40-yard dashes & have not stuck on NFL rosters as they do not have the speed. Think Jewell fits this mold. Might be able to make it if team has right system & he fits the need right away, but don’t think that is likely. Just the way the NFL is.
Unless he was injured or is faster than he looks. Jewell has s proven most wrong in the past & it wouldn’t shock me if he did it again (not dogging on him). Maybe he is carrying too many lbs. Lose those after Bowl & get faster then who knows. There’s no doubt he’s a bad-ass football player who likes to knock fillings loose. Yeah, he’s been run over & juked out. But when you play the best, that happens. Liked getting dunked on. That happens to dudes willing to go out & try to stop people. Most are too much of a ***** to even risk that.

I think he is better than both of those and is probably a mid round pick. I am guessing 4th round.

Pretty tough to argue any of that list. A few I would look at would be Eaton at WR, and I think ISU will end up having a pretty decent safety or two. Though I get why you didn't put one down since nobody is proven.
ISU fans would much rather have that one play than actually winning the game. Moral victory U!
Not a bad list, but I feel Epenesa is going to wreck stuff next year and will probably be the defensive player either team trots out there.
Yeah, I was debating between Eaton and Jones. I think all three could be on there maybe an either or with Hockenson.
