Gelo won't stick on any team, anywhere. Melo will be bullied by grown men, hope it doesn't destroy any chance he had of being something.
Not sure any pro team is going to let melo shoot 65 times a game from 35 feet out.

I can see this really hurting Melo. If he doesn't make it in Europe, he will miss his chance at college and the NBA.

Agreed, and that is why I think it could really hurt his chances. If he were to have gone to UCLA and had the ability to have another person, other than his father, coach him up, he may have had the ability to learn and hone in his shooting to just good(better) shots. But now it is almost a for sure he will not learn that.

Still say that I feel sorry for those kids...

I know the whole student-athlete thing is a misnomer these days, but he is essentially depriving 2 of his 3 kids of a college education. I give those kids zero chance to survive in Europe. Look at how many grown men bounce from team to team over contract and playing time disputes. No way this ends well.

I could care less if he fails. He has his own shoe and drives a lambo at 16 yrs old. Dude set himself up to fail by not going the traditional route like Lonzo

Not hard to see what is happening. The whole "speak it into existence thing" worked just fine for Lonzo because he was good. Not as good of strategy with the ones who aren't good.

Even if you don't graduate it's not like you don't learn anything about basketball and life. Coaching, competition, a chance to grow up and mature some, etc.
