Pete Fiutak and CollegeFootballNews.com says the Big 12 needs to revisit the idea of expansion and add UCF and USF to the league.

You could have one division of Baylor, TCU, Texas, Texas Tech, UCF and USF and the other division would be Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and West Virginia.

Or........really expand and along with UCF/USF also add Houston and Memphis. Put Baylor, Houston, TCU, Texas, Texas Tech, UCF and USF in one division and Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Memphis, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and West Virginia in the other division.

Yeah no thanks. I’ll take Colorado State and Cincinnati. Gives West Virginia a closer opponent and also helps the confrence move westward again.

If it increases the revenue per team in the conference, I would be all for it. UCF is one of the largest undergraduate enrollment universities in the country. I'm not sure if it translates to additional television revenue but it can't hurt. Plus, it would be nice to have a Florida away game at least every other year.

I don't want to question your 2 choices, but what advantage do you see to moving the conference westward? Aren't the ripest recruiting grounds in the South?

Not that this couldn't happen, but I would think there would be no Big 12 movement until 2024 as this seems to be the target year given the expiring GOR in the Big 12 and potential super league of 64 teams.

The Florida schools are nice future adds, but would have the same travel struggles as WV.

Houston and Rice are more likely than the Florida schools (and I don't think they're happening).

The next big thing will be contraction, not expansion. The Big 12 shouldn't be adding any teams whatsoever, especially when they are *guaranteed* to dilute the revenue for each existing conference member.

Colorado State is a rising program, and it gives the conference a more exposure. Plus, I liked having Colorado in the conference, and snow games are always fun

Hard pass... WVU capped out the conference weirdo allotment when they joined the Big 12.

I don't care how big UCF is; no one in that state gives a rats ass about that program even when they're running the table. Just say no to directional schools.

Geographic culture still matters. Colorado State, Cincinnati, or even Memphis would make more sense.
