2017 Iowa Hawkeye Football Team

First off..you started 2 new OT last 3-4 games? Not entire season..and welcome to playing freshman on the OL!

Unproven WR’s? Vandenberg was unproven? Rugumba didn’t play a lot last year? Josh Jackson last year?

Bruh..ISU went most of the season with a walk on QB who hadnt taken a single snap in 5 years in a game.

Iowa's starting LT was injured before the season and the RT in the ISU game. So new tackles pretty much the entire season.

ISU would likely have one more games with a healthy stable Park as well.

We lost our starting guard before the season and our starting RT midway through the season. It happens

Lol going with the Super Bowl response. You should have some concerns with "CMC" if he can't get his team excited to play an in-state rival.

I would not switch staffs.

So if Iowa is 6-6 with a L to ISU you think Hawk fans still feel pretty good about the season? I doubt it, I think it changes the narrative for the fans quite a bit. You can see it in the in state threads here, Iowa fans are satisfied with a pretty mediocre season because they can still fall back on the ISU game. You guys do it constantly.

So did all of the teams Iowa and ISU played. ISU had to go 4 deep at QB, but really the rest of the injury situations were pretty normal.

That's just an evergreen excuse for people who can't accept their team has no depth.

Most teams don't have great depth. And some positions can withstand more injuries than others.

So you think you have the best HC, OC and DC in the state?
Sure? I haven't examined it that closely. I'll take Kirk over Campbell for sure.

So you think Iowa State is going to win Big 12 championships and Iowa is going to have 11 wins in 4 years?

When did Kirk win a Big 10 title?

What are you trying to argue? I said that I think Iowa takes the game seriously. I think they take every game seriously.

Plenty of home cooking in next year's schedule for Iowa...and congrats on the challenging BIG schedule where you don't play Ohio State, Michigan, or Michigan State. Looks like a big contract extension year for Ferentz as you have home games against Northern Illinois, Iowa State, UNI, Wisky, Maryland, Northwestern, and Nebby.

2002 Ohio State was the Big Ten Champion and they won the NCAA Title. In 2004 Michigan beat Iowa and was the Big Ten Champion. Derp
Officially recognized as Co-Big 10 champion in 2002 and 2004. Derp.

You can't even answer my question that actually pertains to the original argument.

LOL one 7-5 season and you become completely delusional!
