2017 Iowa Hawkeye Football Team

I believe Iowa's win total was set at 6.5 in Vegas so really 7-5 was above expectations. I think they would have won one or 2 more games with a healthy OL.

That's what happens when you lack OL depth. Same thing happened to Rhoads. We lose two OL starters and played better. That's what CMC brings to the table

And 7-5 has your fan base ejaculating all over themselves and gets your coach a huge raise
Dude think that statement through. We exceeed anyone’s expectations in year 2. How did Kirk do his second year? How long did it take for him to get herky to 7-5?

Well let's see one program has the current Big 12 Coach of the Year and the other program has Brian Ferentz and his dad running the show
Typical uneducated Iowa State fan. Kirk has 4 Big Ten Coach of the Year awards. He's also 2-0 vs. Matt Campbell.

Kirk used to be a good coach in the 2000's and had his Fake ID season. Also Kirk makes the ISU game his Super Bowl so that's not surprising he's 2-0 against CMC.

Any reasonable Iowa fan would switch staffs in a heartbeat right now

Lol going with the Super Bowl response. You should have some concerns with "CMC" if he can't get his team excited to play an in-state rival.

I would not switch staffs.

I would not switch staffs.

I'd rather have a coach that positions themselves to be in the conversation for a conference title in November than a coach who puts all his eggs in a non conference rivalry game.

You're not very bright if you wouldn't rather have CMC, Manning and Heacock over the Ferentz's and your DC

Pretty much a season to be expected. New unproven QB, new unproven WRs, new unproven TEs, new unproven CBs, new unproven safeties, new unproven OC, plus had to start two freshmen at both tackles. All of that, plus the 6th toughest SOS in the country, and go 7-5? This was a rebuild year. I'll take it. And I like the Pinstripe draw. We do the Outback-type bowl vs. LSU/Florida every year. Fun to mix it up. Good luck against Memphis.

First off..you started 2 new OT last 3-4 games? Not entire season..and welcome to playing freshman on the OL!

Unproven WR’s? Vandenberg was unproven? Rugumba didn’t play a lot last year? Josh Jackson last year?

Bruh..ISU went most of the season with a walk on QB who hadnt taken a single snap in 5 years in a game.

Lol nice moral victory! "in the conversation for a conference title in November".

CMC is 10-14. Saying "you're not very bright" seems idiotic.
