I didn't post any of that...anyway, point remains that B12/B10 awards don't really settle a who's the better LB Jewell/Lanning type argument.

Jewell is a better LB than Lanning. CMC and Lanning got made fun of pretty much all summer by Iowa fans for making that move and he ended up getting second team all conference which is incredible

Lanning at LB LOLOLOL (just got second team)
Wadley and Butler are better than Montgomery (just got first team)
Waggoner wouldn't be on the All Iowa team (just got second team)
Chase Allen sucks (just got second team)
Ferentz is better than CMC (just won Coach of the Year)

I'm sure the list could go on and on. Just think if the Big 12 had a third team like the Big Ten does then the list could get even longer!

Jewell won Big 10 Defensive Player of the Year and Linebacker of the Year. Jackson won the Big 10 Defensive Back Player of the Year. Outstanding seasons for those two.

That is the nature of college athletics. You can only keep great players for so long before they leave. Just have to keep developing talent. Iowa has proven for close to 40 years that they can do that on a consistent level.

It's too bad, I'd love to see Montgomery run circles around Jewell again. (And he's not even a top 10 running back in the country)

Guess we will see. LB is the greatest need ATM. I feel pretty good about the DL, secondary, RB, QB and TE. Will need improvement from the OL and WR.

Your WR will probably be the worst in all P5 next year and I don't know who you have at RB but that won't matter if your OL is good
