I"m very excited for Thurs, especially to see our offensive line and the running game, BUT........we don't put too much speed on the field and losing Wallace Franklin is a big deal in my opinion...one of only a few deep threats we can put in the game. Help me feel better......who else will see the field Thurs night that runs better than a 4.5 40? Will we see Sedrick Johnson?

Losing Wallace Franklin's two catches from last year... not a big deal.

But having enough bigtime playmakers will be a problem for a year or so yet. Just don't have much on either side of the ball for BIGTIME play makers. We have plenty of solid guys who COULD sniff some sort of All Big 12 type level.

I was going to say. I heard last week that he was back on the team. He has been practicing I believe but couldn't put on pads until today

Well in his limited time and one year of play, he is tied for first on TD's we have from returning players. I don't like to right off players off of one year

on offense i think we have plenty of playmakers.. two very mobile QB's.. bass and a-rob are big play potential on any carry.. after hamilton and sumerall the recievers are deep threats (carlson, darks, johnson, franklin)

on defense the DE's are big time, and the the entire secondary is play making bunch

My biggest concern is stopping the run. Other than that, I think we have a lot of playmakers. I think we will score pretty well, and stop the passing game also. I just worry about how our DT's are going to play.

I an not to worried about this game...We should be able to piece together some play makers after we see them on the field this Thursday and who will be able to step up during big 12 play...
