Iowa State is in the midst of the best football season in recent memory (maybe ever) and playing against a top 25 team, yet the student section turnout is disappointing to say the least.

geico stands for "government employee insurance company".....chew on that for awhile. Then google the average salary in Washington D.C. and other economic indicators revealing that is more like Versailles than an American city.

Another day, another complaint about students.
From the TV the attendance looked good, maybe just a few empty seats in the far NE corner, but still full. Maybe it looks diff in person. Stadium looks good today, except after halftime as usual. Doesn’t seem as loud or energetic as the TCU game though.
It is absolutely pathetic that students don’t show up to the game. We have a top 25 team and yet 1 1/2 sections were empty.
yep lets blame the students when HALF of the upper deck crossed the field was empty for the 4th game in a row. Pathetic honestly.
The corner opposite of the "empty student section" was also pretty sparse... those two corners are always going to be that way unless its a sellout.
The stands were not full, I'd say 53,500.
