Worked out for us with THT. Both wouldve been nice but at least it went our way one time. Not comparing the two at all, I honestly think both will be great players once its said and done.
Im also glad that, whether it works for us with THT or against us with Juiston, we arent in on the dirty side of the AAU crap.
Just looked at Cal's first game. McNeill started and played the most minutes (35) on the team. I know Cal will be bad, but that is still impressive for him to be starting right now. I always liked McNeill's long-term potential to contribute after his FR year here. Would have been a nice secondary ball-handler behind the 3 other guys starting for us now, and slide into a more prominent role after Jackson leaves. Oh well.....not Prohm's fault.

Missing out on Juiston and McNeil screwing us over is really going to make this a long year for the Clones I'm afraid. Stinks.
Talley averaged 8 pts, 4 rbs and 11 pts, 3rbs at Old Dominion a decent C-USA team. Fairly confident that Juiston will average 16 & 8 at UNLV this year. Juiston is substantially better than Talley. If we can get Bowie production out of Zoran that will be a win.
Juiston has not done anything against a team with a pulse. He might have helped, but we might be too far away anyways. I hope Talley comes on strong.
McNeill stings a little, but he is still a true freshman, and I doubt he was going to be a high-level contributor for a tournament-level team when he is 19 years old.
Nice to have him going forward, but Prohm's recruiting will fill the void.
I do not think either is obviously what we might need to be much better.
Missing out on one of the shooting guards (Alstork, Brown) might have hurt worse.
