Because its news? Its not my fault that Brian has anger issues and he let multiple people witness it on Saturday. If this was an ISU coach, I would be embarrassed.

Can you link the post of the embarrassment you shared after this outburst and profanity please?

I don't recall Rhoads ever calling anyone a "roostersucker" in front of numerous people in a press box.

No, just yelled "who the **** called that a catch?" in the above clip in front tens of thousands fans in a stadium and thousands more on TV.

It's football. Outbursts happen, I love the faux outrage on this board over it though.

Look who's trying real hard to internet.

You can look yourself, ISU fans were pretty tired of that act. Not nearly as embarrassing as what lil ferentez did though.

When did they get tired of it? Most likely when Rhoads started winning 3-4 wins per year.

What other OC has broken a hand and had to have security called on them in the press box in the same month?

Even Morehouse was talking about how he's never heard anything like that in 20+ years of being in the press yesterday on 1700. He said up in the box it is an office like setting compared to the sidelines where you can say whatever you want. He said he thought it was 50/50 if he would get reprimanded.

Do we need to beef up security when we play at Iowa or when they come to Ames? I'd hate for one of these lunatic Iowa coaches to attack an official, player, or fan. Brian and Fran might be addicted to rageahol.

This is apples to oranges comparison. That tirade by Rhoads was pathetic and nobody is saying it wasn't. Nobody felt a need for security due to Rhoads tantrum.

Ooohhh we should send out warning letters to the ADs of all future Hawk opponents. You know, just to be good citizens and stuff. Not to try to show them up or anything like that.

Nothing like asking a question you don't know the answer to and then answering it yourself anyways. Nice projection, what you would like to be true but isn't.

I can't wait until he gets the HC job.

So what exactly did Ferentz say, does anyone know?

Sure, coaches spew cusswords incoherently but to me, that's nowhere near the same as, like, calling an official a c***sucker and breaking your hand by punching s***, thus needing security detail for the others to not feel intimidated. Cussing and personal insults + threatening behavior are completely different behaviors. I'd be pissed if Manning did the same thing.
