At the very least it would have been interesting to see how they handled it if it had been caught on video. The way their press box is set up the press area is kind of in an open area at the midish section of that level with the elevator near by so any yelling can be heard very easily.

If there was a video, Kirk's response would be. "We will review the tape and clean a few things up." Since that is his favorite response every time something negative happens.

Not entirely true......Unless the result of the play is a TD. I thought the same thing until they (call in show) were talking about it after the game, then ESPN was talking about it later that night as well. Both said since it resulted in a TD they could and should of reviewed it.

I was more irritated once I figured out it was blown dead. In this age of reply these refs need to have learned by now to let the play go knowing it can always be brought back. I was pretty mad at the whistle happy ref...until we got in the end zone anyway then I forgot about it.

The play was blown out of bounds. If the play ended in a touchdown, yes you could review it but refs said the play was over.

Refs are trained to swallow their whistle if they are not certain, because the review will get it right. So he must have been sure, but needs to get his eyes checked at the same time.

It's going to be swept under and die, as there is no video of it. But witnesses said it crossed the line. He even stooped to physically threatening to harm them. Hell, they escorted the officials out of the booth after the game out of uncertainty that he would be back. Dude lost his ****. If a player did that, it would be a significant suspension. But since it's just their, in title only, OC, I imagine there will be nothing forthcoming but an insincere apology.

Brian Ferentz has always been, currently is, and will continue to be a spoiled brat. Dude is arrogant and values very few opinions outside of his own. Kinda funny, as Kirk is just about a polar opposite of Brian.
