Patterson Comments

From those comments, I don't think Patterson was crying or ******** about the calls in any way. Seemed like he was more upset with his team's performance but the way the reporter headlined it and filled in extra narrative gave it a different tone.

Honestly, the only time I saw him really go after the refs on Saturday was after Everett's leg "cramps."

They had no less than 3 holds on the KOR TD. One was an outright tackle. I don't want to hear about the bad calls they got.

Yeah, I didn't see the tackle at the game but when I watched highlights my mind was blown that open field tackle didn't get called. It was literally the block that opened the giant running lane.

I'm not sure he knew he had the free play, the flag and offending player was on his blind side. He pretty much zeroed in on the right side and telegraphed the pass. He was damn lucky that the flag was thrown.

I'd like to see the play again (I didn't record it). It looked like Good-Jones snapped the ball when he saw the guy jump. If so, then Kempt should have known it was a free play because he snapped it prior to the snap count.

Got back to Denver yesterday and watched the replay on my DVR so I could get a better view on a lot of those calls. There may have been a couple that were close, but even the announcers agreed with the majority. And the off-sides that brought back the Pick-6 was clearly off-sides. Pretty sure the guy did it again later in the game as well.

Which was hilarious and awesome, total grad transfer move. I love this team so much because that's the sort of thing a conference contender does. These guys play like they belong. And they do!

That was potentially game changing right? I think the next play was the Peavy INT. If he doesn't fake the injury TCU is a yard or two out from the endzone and probably tries to run it in.

Edwards put himself into the Oscar's with that act. I couldn't believe it worked when I saw it.

Curious about everyone's thoughts on this. During the TCU KO return for a TD, I thought there was an obvious hold. But watching it again, i'm not sure. Check out this video at the 0:47 mark, watch ISU #89 and TCU #15 on the lower left.

Gary Patterson is probably my favorite coach in the conference besides ours but that sounded pretty whiny to me.

While he's reviewing the film, he might look at the flea flicker cause that no call was flat out bad.

Yeah it is a hold for the entirety of the block. And as he tried to pull away he tackled him. It is nearly as blatant as they come. Even initially him and the blocker next to him are holding bad both guys got thrown to ground.

So close on that play. Maybe try that with Lanning’s arm next time.
