No, what I am saying is winning 40% of your conference games over a 14 year career and making one Sweet 16 appearance does not warrant a statue being built in someones honor....unless you are at ISU.

He went 5-9 in conference play one year and made it to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. I'm not sure why conference record means anything honestly

Found it. Johnny had 8 unsuccessful losing Big8 seasons and 2 “successful” losing Big8 seasons.

Are losing conference records good things? Seems when you have 10 losing Big12 season and only 2 of them are “successful, that isn’t good.

I’m pretty shocked at Orr’s struggles in the Big8 looking at his record.
