Coaches are judged by results of the teams they coached.

It's not hard, try not to be so obtuse.

Orr won 40% of his conference games at ISU and that was enough for a statue to be erected in his honor.

Orr had losing conference records in years he made the tournament. Pretty damn impressive

Completely agree here.

Iowa is 12-10 since the 10 straight wins over unranked teams to start the 2015 season. Those 12 wins: Miami Ohio, Iowa State, Rutgers, Minnesota, Purdue, Illinois, #3 Michigan (props), Nebraska, Wyoming, Iowa State, North Texas, Illinois

Perhaps if Fran would have taken the Hawks to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA tournament in his sixth season as head coach like Orr did with the Cyclones instead of struggling to even make it to the Big Dance, then Iowa fans would have built a statue in his honor as well
 
I find it hilarious now that ISU is being successful and Hawk fans are jealous. That's all it comes down to, they can't handle that the so called "little brother" is winning and having a better season. Its like your buddy who can dish out all the crap to you but when you give it back they get so offended. Grow up you Hawk fans.

What are Hawk fans jealous of? ISU looks to be on track for a average Hawk year, 7 wins. Those years are ho hum average for us.
