On to Football Season

This guy sure brags a lot about a game that was won in OT by a fluke interception. I think he sees where these two teams are trending and is trying to get his shots in while he can lol

Penn St averages 43 PPG when not playing Iowa. Iowa held them to 22 Points less than what they do vs other teams. ISU scores 34 PPG when not playing in their Suoer Bowl, but scores 41 when playing in the Super Bowl.
ISU scores this year: 42, 41, 41, 7, 38, 45 - the only outlier is Texas.

Iowa Scores this year: 24, 44, 31, 19, 10, 45

Penn State averages are only high because they really haven't played anyone. They've had a fake ID-type schedule so far this season (you guys should know all about that). Unless you consider any of the following opponents a quality opponent: Akron, Pitt, Ga. St, Iowa, Indiana, NW.

Sagarin SOS Rankings:

Iowa: 37
ISU: 46
PSU: 51

In summary, ISU's SOS is closer to PSU's than it is to Iowa's.

Looks like ISU's is better than Ohio State, Penn State, and Wisconsin, the Big Ten's best :)

Great, but the SOS ISU has played is really close to PSU's so @GTO's claim that PSU has played a weak schedule really doesnt hold much weight if he isnt going to claim the same about ISU's schedule. Shocking, I know.

No, I agree. We've played two good teams (OU and UT) and the rest have been garbage dragging down our SOS. We're just now getting to the tougher part of our schedule, so our SOS will be climbing up.

LOL!!! So you lost to a garbage team in OT?

Troll.

How is a 28th ranked Iowa dragging down your 46th ranked SOS?

So he is now 1-5 against his rivals? Ouch!

1-1 vs our new rival Oklahoma.

K-State is an Iowa rival?
Using Hok logic. You know, Campbell said ISU needs to beat our rivals, and you guys think that's UNI and Iowa automatically and choose to only answer half of the question.

K-State isn't Iowa's rival, they can actually show up against Stanford, so they're better. K-State isn't even Big Time and they have a better program than Iowa.

How did Kirk do against ISU and K State his first 2 years?
0-3

And there is the comparison of fill in the blank Clone coach to KF's success early in his Iowa tenure.

Be sure to bump this thread once the Clones run the table in the Big 12 and make a BCS bowl appearance during the 2019 season, ok?

He didn't say "in state rivals"
