Yah it always starts to get a little stale toward the end.In my opinion, an hour is just right. I don't think anyone wants to stick around longer than that.

The longer I'm in Hilton the better. Can always leave early if youre bored. In my opinion, an hour is just right. I don't think anyone wants to stick around longer than that.
It gets stale because of how they set it up. It could be way more fun than it is. I just think they rush everything. That will be even worse now if 8 students are participating in the 3-point contest. So the players will just be watching students play most of the time?Yah it always starts to get a little stale toward the end.
Disagree, there is always room for improvement and some of the complaints are legit. You could argue why people care so much similar to uniforms and entrance music but if they are to put on an event why not make it as enjoyable as possible.i've never figured out why our diehard bball fanbase complains (or fails to show up) for a free event in Hilton involving our basketball team. no matter what they try, no one likes it.
this from a fanbase that brings 14k to see mississippi valley state and the like every year.
Just my opinion, and probably a bad one, but the one Hilton Madness I went to back in 2014 was the very first one they did, with Fred still coaching and Scott Siepker emceeing. Seemed incredibly forced to me, I just wasn't vibing with it. Maybe over the past couple years since they've figured it out a little more.
Then they should adjust the format so they can keep it interesting for 90 minutes.Yeah, no way this event should be any longer in its current format. Unless we get Drake ala kentucky or start raffling off some stuff, an hour is fine. Now that I think about it, a raffle would be pretty sweet.
Siepker roots for Iowa so he shouldn't be anywhere near this. Yes, he roots for ISU, as well, but my first sentence should DQ him.Last yr Siepker was still mc, personally I'd like to see him replaced by JW. But that's just my opinion.
Now that I think about it, a raffle would be pretty sweet.
Not sure. Do most schools hire an MC who openly roots for their bitter rival?Just curious, do most schools that do this sort of thing combine for men's and women's?
For those of you who were fortunate enough to go, how was it? What were the hilights?
