I thought there was recently an article on either HN or HR, that he was pushing his time table back to think a little bit. Not that i really care, I didnt want him at ISU. I think there are lot better players out there to get... or in our case, lose out to Marquette in.
I haven't seen him play much. My friend said that he jus got back from a camp in Las Vegas and picked up offers from Arizona State and Washington State while he was there. I told my friend it is better he committed to EIU and has a chance to play than for him to ride the pine at ISU anyways.:smile:
It's not that we didn't want Chance but it's that we don't have enough scholarships in that class to offer. We only have one left for 2010 so you might as well try and go really really big. If we had 3 scholarships to give, I guarantee you he gets offered
That's not true.
This kid has blown up and could end up sneaking into the top 150. I have never seen him play but have not heard a negative thing about him or his game
1 It is, actually. And you can quote me on it. ( You can ask Kg-cyclone if you want, but even if we had 4 open, he didn't have a great chance of getting offered.)

Well you can take what you have heard from the internet and I will take what I heard directly from an assistant coach on him. He said his game has really grown in the past 6 months.
Chanse was not high on ISU, heard directly from his mouth that he would never go to ISU.
He's a hawk fan.
ISU has shown little to no interest.
I was never a huge fan...I have played against/with him in pick up games. Shoots the ball well, is going to need somebody to break the defense down for him in the college game. Question shot selection at times. Probably a nice role player at best. Shows no desire on the defensive end (pick up games), not a good way to form good habits.

Your cool! Hard to have sour grapes about a guy we didn't pursue.
I am even in the boat that if we had more scholarships to give out that we would have offered Chance. But once again, nobody has sour grapes about a kid we didn't offer

Was giving my honest opinion of him...If Creekmur turns out to be better than that...good for him.

He's a hawk fan, his parents are hawk fans, his grandparent are hawk fans. He grew up in Mason City. He would have never came to ISU even if we offered.
