No, unlike the folks over on your side, we're a little better at realism. No sane Cyclone is predicting a natty every year, in all the major sports. We're not as delusional as the Hawkeyes.
Sanity and Cyclone fans are not two words that go together. I mean I have been told everything here from ISU would have won the BigTen last year, to the '14 Clones > Iowa, to Warren > Wadley, to Lanning > Beathard, to ISU is gonna beat Iowa be 21+ on Saturday.
There isn't much realism here at all.

I love "measurement" season. I'm thrilled to death with CMC and staff and am expecting very successful seasons going forward, but to not look back on the hawk program with at least a little jealousy is way too homer for me. Hard to NOT acknowledge the amount of talent the hawks have put in the league.
A large swath of cyclone fans routinely belittle the hawks and their bowl "prowess" but they do it from the comfort of their Cyclone sofas during bowl season.
Don't get me wrong - you guys suck hard. REAL hard. But that doesn't mean you haven't earned large amounts of respect from many Cyclone fans.

By having a bad start. When you start off 0-4 against Mac's Super Bowl efforts you are behind the 8 ball. It took too long for Ferentz to adjust to just how much this game meant to ISU. So Ferentz wisely stepped it up a notch and posted a picture in the locker room. BOOM! All of a sudden Iowa players had the motivation they needed and Ferentz is 9-5 since.

That makes sense actually. I'd bet Iowa was also responsible for the CMC "workout" video of him squatting 100 lbs, that was lame as **** as well.
