ISU was better than Iowa in 2012. Outside of that, Iowa had at least the same amount of wins or more. Plus ISU played in the weak ass Big12 North for the majority of these years.

2014 Iowa 7-6 > ISU 2-10
2011 Iowa 7-6 > ISU 6-7
2007 Iowa 6-6 > ISU 3-9
2005 Iowa 7-5 = ISU 7-5
2002 Iowa 11-2 > ISU 7-7

Huh??

1999-ISU better team
2000 - ISU better team
2001-Even
2002-Even at the time they played when ISU was still healthy and Iowa didn't know how good they could be.
2005-ISU better team
2007-Both bad teams, but I feel Iowa was slightly better
2011-Even
2012-ISU better team
2014-Iowa was slightly better

So I would put it at ISU was the better team in 4 of those wins, even in three and Iowa was better in two.

Sorry I should have said 7 out of the 9 times ISU beat Iowa the Hawkeyes weren't the better team since that seems to work better for you.

Well you did say that 7 of those 9 wins, the Cyclones were "clearly" the better team. I feel they were the better team in 4 of the 9 wins. But yes, I do feel that Iowa was the better team in at least two of their losses and you could argue for another one in 2002.
