***OFFICIAL IOWA/ISU WEEK THREAD***

I still don't get why you are trying to troll this? Football is about winning. Iowa won the game. Stanley outplayed a 1st Rd QB prospect in Allen. Anytime you can make mistakes and still beat a NFL QB on a team getting top 25 votes, by 21, that is a good day.

Lol this is actually a good troll.

I'm not trolling anyone. He barely did anything besides hand the ball off and still managed to have 3 fumbles and an interception. You expect him to drop back more and not turn the ball over? That doesn't make sense.

He accounted for all 3 of Iowa's TD's with 3 TD passes. So will he average a TD pass On 20% of his attempt and have 39 TD passes?

Your trolling is super low level any more, I'm embarrassed for you.

Erm...no. Iowa's defense beat Allen.

I think turnovers will be an issue for him all year. He seems to have no pocket presence whatsoever.

Now you're moving the goal posts. The only comparison that can be made at this point is first game vs first game. We know Parks has improved (how much is up for debate). Stanley is unknown except for this first game...and against a weak opponent, with a much better line in front of him, he was somewhat less than stellar. I will grant you that missing your center might have played a role, but the much vaunted Iowa linemen should have been able to adjust to his absence against the Cowboys, don't you think?

I'm just giving it back to @CyTwins as he is determined to troll Stanley.

I said the ball security is concerning. If you watched the game though he threw a really good ball. The receivers had 3 or 4 drops and Stanley should have been 11 or 12 for 15. Plentry to build on with Stanley, and all in all not a bad first start minus the fumbling.

Hats off to Iowa for being the first to use a motivational quote. Nobody in the history of college football has used that before, especially using the word rock.

Wait are they implying we stole another thing from them? Lol little brother being little brother

Insecurity must be a prerequisite.

It is smart to steal from the best. First AHF, stole that from Hayden. That team out East, stole that from OSU. Break the Rock, stole that from Ferentz.

It will be interesting to see who he steals from next.

Can we really credit ANF as a real thing?

'Cuz it wasn't. And still isn't to this day.

Iowa was clearly very confident in Stanley, as they had him throw a whopping 15 times... Of which he completed 8. #Heisman

Maybe as a Clone fan you don't understand that coaches are supposed to put their teams in position to win games. Last year Iowa has a NFL QB and he attempted 19 passes for 66 yards in a win over Michigan. He attempted 15 passes NBA Nebraska in a 30 point rout of the Fuskers.

It is about winning games, not one players stats.
