In all honesty, Iowa D will be the best unit on the field. They were just as good yesterday as most thought they would be. ISU's offense maybe not as good, but seemed to come together in the 2nd half. I think Iowa's offense and ISU's defense were both better than most thought they would be yesterday. Iowa has the slight advantage on Saturday, but it is in Ames, so that neutralizes it some. Whoever wins, I think it will be 3 or 4 point victory. Now, **** Iowa!
Do Iowa fans not realize they switch that sign out for whatever team we're playing that week?
In regards to "The team out east":
Woody Hayes coined the term "The team up north" during The Ten Year War of Ohio State and Michigan. One could argue we're currently in a 20 year war with Iowa. Iowa is winning 10-9 since 1998. When Woody Hayes coined that term the series was at 38-24-4 with Michigan being the dominating leader. Ohio State has now winning the series 25-20-2 since that term. With Michigan still leading the series 58-48-6. Do you guys call Ohio State the little bro? No? Interesting.
It pissed Michigan off and it is pissing Iowa off. That's the point of a rivalry. To talk ****.

Yeah I see a tight game myself. I felt Iowa's D was going to be good, and I have been saying for awhile the front 7 is gonna be really, really good. Sam Brinks played a ton of DE snaps OVER Epenesa! Matt Nelson did a good job when he played DT as well. That just shows how deep and talented this DL is.

Whats weak and funny about it? They do it for EVERY GAME. This isnt just an Iowa thing. Brian Ferentz did the same damn thing by saying "those guys from Ames, in refusing to call us ISU or Cyclones. If its weak and funny, maybe you want to criticize that goon.

Mostly perception. Iowa has been good the past few years, ISU has not.
Add to that Iowa's trouncing of ISU in 2016.
The game itself I am not overly surprised at the line but would have thought 3.5 or so.
