So I'm trying to get my subscription set up for the fall and I keep getting an error (E00040 - The record cannot be found).

Anyone else having this problem or know what I'm doing wrong? I've been trying since Saturday and attempted to set it up on 3 seperate devices and get the same thing each time. Usually CY.tv will at least take my money before it stops working.

TIA

I don't have a solution for that, but I'll post this same message I posted in another thread for general information to people reading this thread:
Cyclones.TV is selling a 5-day Labor Day weekend pass. If anyone is planning to get it I would suggest buying on Thursday or Friday so you can get it set up and test it. Granted, there still might be issues on game day, but at least that gives you more time to resolve account or login issues if necessary.
Also, it seems that people using a Roku had fewer issues than others (anecdotally, anyway). Something to think about if you're making plans.

The error in general seems to be related to not having a customer profile setup. I would recommend contacting their support they were very helpful for me a few years back...

This is a repost of several days ago.

Anyone having (more) problems getting signed up for CycloneTV? I renewed my subscription for $79 last week.

Now, I cannot open anything on the site. I have sent two emails under the site "contact support". I have called Cyclones.tv After Hours Support Phone: 315-443-1872, who after answering as "Megan", with no company name, tells me no one is there and she will have some one call me back. No one called

Next I sent an email to Cyclones.tv/Cyclones.com Business Hours Email: [email protected]. No one has responded.

I sure wish the Cyclones would contract with a professional service to provide this support.

Ah, just ******* great, again. Just checked and I can get the live feed that is currently on Mediacom, a replay of an old ISU/UNI game but no sound. Of course I get sound for the lead in commercial thingy from Toyota. Guess I should prepare for a bunch of disappointed fans at the gamewatch Saturday night. Maybe I'll just buy them all a round and go home. :(

I just logged in and I have no sound for Live TV but have plenty of sound when watching the archived stuff.

Using Chrome on a Windows laptop.

Sames for me on two different computers running different Windows version. Ha, checked that so they could come back with some BS about it being an issue on my end. I emailed them about it. Not expecting any response cause they just don't give a ****.

It's 2017 and people can live feed what their doing with their phone but a TV station doesn't work correctly.

Is ISU the only school to have such an issue?

I was trying to contact them about a subscription renewal issue via the online form under "Contact Support" and didn't hear anything back. After trying twice with that I just emailed them at [email protected] and they immediately got back to me.

There may be some issue with their online contact form.

So who's going to have the Periscope feed when this all goes to hell?

Will need to be someone who has the Mediacom feed. Hold the phone steady when you point it at the TV.

I tried signing up for the Labor Day pass but got a 404 error as well. I switched from Chrome to Explorer, and it took me to the next level where i can log in or create an account. I logged in, went to sign up for the subscription, and then the 404 error.

I also went into "My Account" and tried to update the payment info but it also errored.

Cyclone Football just posted something on Twitter about the CyclonesTV broadcast. I would suggest everyone who is concerned to reply to that tweet with a polite voicing of your concerns to get their attention a little more publicly. I have to run and don't have time to link back to it.

Have you tried various browsers, clearing your cache and cookies, and tried both mobile and desktop? Also try temporarily disabling firewall and antivirus (including your router firewall). Be sure to turn them back on immediately after finishing.
