Iowa Football Recruiting

Dude you take this stuff waayyy to seriously. Now you are going way off topic here and just can't take the fact that my impression of Iowa City is what it is and now you are calling me prejudice? GET A LIFE!!!!

What's good for the goose is good for the gander! Hmm.... Look at what the University of Iowa craps out... I'm sorry no ignorance here either is there! Don't paint yourself into a corner you can't get out of or will you plead ingorance to this thread to?

So you don't like homeless people and free speech?

Sounds like there is some good news coming in the next few days.

Rumblings are it is a verbal from Julius Brents.

This is the second worst kept secret only behind the DJ Johnson commit. Both were committed to Iowa for over a month now before officially announcing. Still it is awesome news when mad official. That gives Iowa two top 400 composite players with their last 2 commits in DJ and Brents.

I'm sure some Clone fan will come out and claim some insider says Michigan St didn't actually want him, just to make themselves feel better.

Why didn't Notre Dame want him either if he's from Indy?
Probably another recruit they beat Purdue, and some MAC schools for. But I'm sure they will all try to convince us that he is the "goodest" safety in the midwest.

You would cream your jeans if ISU could land a DJ Johnson or Brent's. Both are top 400 composite player. Brents had offers from MSU and Louisville along with tons of others.

Taking it that DJ is a five star since we have Lazard on our roster? Must be ranked way ahead of him.

Where did I say that? I said ISU would cream its jeans over a top 400 composite player and I am right, you are still creaming your jeans over Lazard.

Flag burning is what you call free speech?? SMH!! No, I don't like the hok patrol/posters on CF and Iowa City in general.

Awesome. So ISU has a ton of community college students living in their dorms. And you guys criticize Iowa for selling football tickets to them?

#RaiseTheStandard

You realize Iowa does the same 2+2 program. It's not just open to all community college students like Iowa's Kirkwood deal was, idiot. These are students who are taking a majority of their classes at dmacc, and will be transferring to Iowa state after a year, most of them two. Hence why they have access to Iowa state benefits and the opportunity to live on campus.

ISU's great marketing department copied Iowa's ANF, Fight for Iowa slogan and can't put out good hype videos. But just like Pollard, they can't do anything wrong.

"Fight for Iowa State" is in the fight song, twice. Written befor 'On, Iowa'.

Also have already made shirts back in 2010-2011 that said "fight for I, for S, U".

Do less.

Iowa does indeed participate in the 2+2 program. But I don't know of any 2+2 students living in UIowa dorms, while you claim that "most" of ISU's 2+2 students live in ISU dorms.

The Uiowa info page says nothing about living on campus.

So ISU fans make fun of Iowa letting some non Iowa students get season tickets. Yet at the same time ISU let's non ISU students get season tickets. But, but, but ITS DIFFERENT!!!!!

Derp!

This is Taters season ticket to get into any Hawk games. Goes to show that Iowa has to go the elementary school route to get people to go to games.

Just your normal everyday bunch of liberals in Iowa City. You don't like the country you live in, leave it. Pretty much sums up what a lot of people think of hawk trolls on this site. Carry on...
