OK - who wins the game on Sept. 9th ?

Park is a better QB and has better offensive weapons. But I agree that PSU probably has a better O-line and defense than we do.
Probably-lol. Park also makes a lot of dumb decisions-hope that continues

Sure, base your entire opinion on something someone in the South who knows absolutely nothing about Park wrote.
With that said, the Big 12 is full of QBs who are better than anyone in the Big 10. Park would put up obscene numbers in that putrid league your team plays in. There are 9 or 10 garbage teams in the Big 10.

Here are some other publications who put Park and ISU at #9 in the Big12 QB position.

That is 4 places now saying ISU and Park are the 9th or worse best QB in the Big12 alone.

Athlon’s rated the following better than Park.
https://athlonsports.com/college-fo...ring-1-130-starting-quarterback-rankings-2017

1 Barrett
2 McSorley
3 Allen
4 Thorson
5 Blough
6 Hornibrook
7 Park

Take off your Clone colored glasses, Athlos has Park as Iowa's 7th toughest QB played as well.

Allen has me worried, he is pretty good. I'm not worried about Park, he is in the bottom half of QB we will play according to Athlons. Unless he goes all Super Bowl Steel Jantz on us that is.

I posted one thing from Athlons and you said it was an embarrasing publication that wasn't any good, but now you use them? Try to have it both ways all the time.

Also, so you say that iowa can get qbs drafted but they can't do anything in the NFL? You are agreeing that ISU is a better option if you want to play qb in the pros.

You go to college to get a job opportunity. What you do after college is on you. Football is no different.

Going to Iowa under KF is much better than ISU over the last decade for QB's. 3 of the last 4 QB at Iowa got drafted into the NFL. That is killing it in terms of getting QB’s drafted.

Think about how many QB are even drafted each year. Maybe 10 on a slow year and 15 in a QB heavy draft? If you think it is just easy to get a college QB even drafted, you just don’t know much about football.

If you want a guy who really killed it with QB’s, bring back Mac. That dude had 2 guys who stuck in the league and played a loooooong time, and made a ton of money.

Again, Learn to read. I said to play in the pros not just get drafted.

BTW, I feel really sorry for iowa students if the first paragraph is true. At ISU the placement officers bust their tail to get you a job. Mine would follow up with me for the the first couple years and helped me when I would call with questions when I was looking to change careers. Iowa sounds like a Kaplan University the way you describe it.

I said you go to college to get a job. I have been saying over and over again that Iowa has given 3 of the last 4 starting QB's the opportunity to play in the NFL. Just like a real job (maybe you will Some day learn this) after you get the job, you will advance as far as your talents take you.

Not sure why this even upsets Clone fans. Iowa is really good at developing OL, DL, LB, Seconday, TE, and QB and routinely get these players an opportunity at the NFL, as they are routinely drafted.

It makes sense why most end up being burger flippers

This doesn't bother me because I'm routinely told I don't have a real job. so I had what people consider a "real" job, and I will keep what I have.

I get that a lot around here, and it is stupid, and then I go and do it. I should know better, sorry about that.

How did Harbaugh "fix" Rudock? His rate stats barely improved at Michigan, more or less at a rate you can expect for a guy in his final year.

Yards per attempt for his three years as a starter: 6.9, 7.1, 7.8
Adjusted YPA: 6.2, 7.3, 7.7
Passer rating: 126.5, 133.5, 141.5

He grew as a player over his three years as a starter. His numbers improved his senior year, but not in a huge way.

Rudock played a legit schedule at Michigan though.

Facts don't matter to Clone fans. I made a factual statement that 3 of Iowa last 4 starting QB's were drafted and people are arguing that.

Breakdown on the depth chart for Leistikow.

http://www.hawkcentral.com/story/sp...tarting-quarterback-nathan-stanley/608033001/

I love the thoughts on Stanley from Doyle.

“He’s mature beyond his years,” Doyle said. “That’s partly why you saw him accelerate in his progression last year (as a true freshman).

“One thing for sure: Nate Stanley, he really is a mature guy that comes to work every day — no drama, focused — (a) really impressive guy to see in our facility and on our practice fields.”
