Was just watching the Weather Channel. The storm is only moving 7 mph. Will go inland Ssturday loop aroujd south and then follow coast North. Pulling moisture off the gulf till Tuesday. Areas getting 30-40 inches. Crazy.

Hell, if you drive some of that coastline today, especially in MS, a lot of that is still recovering, more than a decade later.

Yeah, I didn't know that either until today. I also saw an article where the mayor of Rockport told the people who had chosen not to evacuate to write their names and social security numbers on their arms so that people would be able to identify their bodies. That is horrifying.

Sister in Victoria. Currently a stones throw from eye. Lost fences, but house is enduring. Power on and off throughout the night. Really strange having a loved one in the path of that beast.

Downgraded already. Maybe I'm weird but unless it's another Katrina that destroys a city I think it's overhyped.

If they get 30" of rain, it will be a disaster.
