Thinking about going to a bar to watch the fight with some friends. Anybody know of any bars in West Des Moines or Clive that will be showing the fight? And if there will be a cover?

Usually I go to Saints by Jordan Creek. They usually have it. Pints downtown is charging 25 bucks to get in to watch it. I am getting this one at home.

anyone know if you will be able to find a stream for the fight?

It won't even be worth watching. Mayweather will do his thing and McGregor will wear out trying to attack him. Once he wears out Mayweather will end it. Over in the 4th of 5th round.

I think it's going to be the same Mayweather fight we've seen time and time again. Defense the entire fight with a few meaningful landed punches from Floyd to give him the win. McGregor is too smart to come out and blow his energy early. He might not be a great boxer, but McGregor always comes prepared.

Just getting a buncha buddies together at their house.. all pitching in should only cost about 10 a guy. Not a bad deal.

Fight probably isn't going to start till... 11:30? Midnight?

Also if anyone knows of a bar in the Twin Cities area, preferably closer to St. Paul, that is showing it I would appreciate the tip. I can't find much information online about it

First place I would try, and I actually will be trying, is on the Periscope app. People will video their tv and show it over the app- sometimes the quality isn't very good or the sound isn't great, but some streams are pretty good quality. I have watched some UFC PPV's through Periscope. Those streams sometimes get shut down since they are PPV's and I wouldn't expect any different from the fight this weekend.

Did this for the McGregor-Diaz fight when Diaz won...

I actually watched through Marcus Fizers periscope on twitter.

I've got $1 that Mayweather runs like a b**ch the whole time, yet again. And the only way this ends well is if once its over Mayweather fights McGregor MMA style (but he won't, because he's a b****).

I think Floyd is constantly dodging Connor's punches while CM comes out hot the first couple rounds. By end of round 2, early 3 Conor will get pissed and fake a kick at Floyd to mess with his head, Floyd will stand up and point at/talk to the ref or something and that's when Connor tries to land a big blow hahaha. That is the only way I see CM pulling off the upset, other than CM just throwing unorthodox blows from all angles at FM and FM ducks right into an uppercut or something.

If FM doesn't stray away from the fighting style that got him to where he is today, and doesn't try to knock CM out, then he should win pretty easily.

Is that what time they're guaranteeing?

I can just see the undercard taking twice as long as predicted.. followed by an hour just to introduce the 2 guys!

EDITl: I did just find this for entrance, and fight time. The 8PM is broadcast start I believe.

Yeah, doesn't the start time vary based on the undercard fights and how long they last?
